From June 3rd to 7th, 2024, the prestigious Posidonia 2024 event took place in Athens, attracting leading figures from the global shipping industry. The BlueBARGE Project made its debut at this renowned international event, represented by five of its partners: American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), Danaos, Hydrus, Multimarine Services (MMS) and National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) . This provided an excellent platform to showcase the project, its objectives, and its collaborators.
On June 4th, the five partners jointly presented the BlueBARGE Project at the ABS booth, drawing considerable interest from attendees. The success of the event was evident from the large number of participants who followed the presentation with keen interest, expressing curiosity about the project’s potential for commercialization upon completion.
