Posidonia 2026 concluded on June 5 in Athens, bringing together shipowners, shipbuilders, equipment manufacturers, technology providers, and maritime service companies. The event featured an extensive exhibition, industry conferences, and business networking sessions, focusing on the latest developments in digitalization, alternative fuels, vessel-efficiency technologies, decarbonization strategies, and regulatory compliance solutions.
These topics align perfectly with BlueBARGE’s vision and mission to develop a power barge capable of supporting the energy transition in ports while maintaining operational flexibility.
Representatives from American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), the project coordinator, Konstantinos Voutzoulidis and Katerina Vasileiadou, together with Alexandros Giannakis from Hydrus, presented the project during a dedicated session at the ABS booth, attracting significant interest from exhibition visitors.
