BlueBARGE general assembly held in Valencia

Last 12 and 13 February, BlueBARGE partners gathered in Valencia for its General Assembly hosted by Fundacion Valenciaport

On February 12th and 13th, 2025, the BlueBARGE project held its General Assembly in Valencia, Spain. Hosted by Fundación Valenciaport, the event brought together project partners to discuss the ongoing development of the barge and its technical advancements.

The BlueBARGE general assembly opened with a welcome from Federico Torres, Director of the Energy Transition Department at the Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia, and Nicolas Giubbini, BlueBARGE Project Officer. The discussions covered the latest updates on the barge’s performance, technical progress, and future deployment scenarios. On the second day, external stakeholders joined the conversation to provide insights into user needs and expectations.

Participants also visited the SAGGAS regasification plant in the Port of Sagunto, exploring potential applications for the barge in different environments.

The meeting, organized by Fundación Valenciaport, provided a valuable opportunity for collaboration and progress in the project’s development.
