BlueBARGE participated in the GreenPort Congress, held in Malta from 15–17 October 2025, bringing together leaders and innovators in the maritime and port sectors to discuss sustainable solutions and the future of port infrastructure.

On the first day of the Congress, Ignacio Benítez Sánchez from Fundación Valenciaport joined the session “Harbouring the Future: Infrastructure for a Stronger Port Ecosystem”, where he presented the BlueBARGE vision and objectives in a dedicated speech. The presentation highlighted the project’s ongoing efforts to develop innovative, sustainable, and multifunctional floating platforms that strengthen port ecosystems while minimizing environmental impact.

During the Congress, BlueBARGE’s work on Work-Package 4 – Performance Assesment and Optimization was also showcased.
