The BlueBARGE Consortium is pleased to inform you about the upcoming event “Maritime Decarbonisation in Action: EU-Funded Innovation & Collaboration“. It will take place on 3 July 2025 in Istanbul, hosted by our project partner ELKON.
The event will serve as an important forum for discussion and knowledge exchange around innovative approaches to reducing emissions in the maritime sector. It will bring together key stakeholders involved in European research and innovation projects targeting the green transition of shipping.
A specific focus will be given to the BlueBARGE Project, which will be presented among other EU-funded initiatives. Discussions will cover a range of relevant topics, including:
- The use of alternative fuels, such as ammonia and hydrogen
- The role of digitalisation in enhancing sustainability and efficiency
- Insights from industry leaders and project partners, including ABS, Hydrus, and Fundación Valenciaport
