BlueBARGE partner REGBES participated in the Shore Power Summit 2025, held in Rotterdam on November 12 and 13, 2025. During the event, Dr. Özhan Atmaca presented two core tools developed under the BlueBARGE Project:
- The Barge Assessment and Selection Tool: a decision-support instrument designed to support the evaluation and selection of electrified and/or hydrogen-based solutions for barge operations.
- The Compatibility Tool: a tool developed to enhance interoperability and verify alignment between operational requirements and existing infrastructure for different vessel types, ports, and barge operations.
These instruments contribute to scalable, intelligent, and modular electrification solutions for cleaner port operations. The summit also provided an opportunity to engage with industry stakeholders on port electrification, charging infrastructure, and operational processes.
